aaa -I started to skate very late-when I was 8 or 9 years old. Before that I use to do artistic gymnastic. Maksim begun when he was 4 years old. He was very ailing health child and his parents thought thatfigure skating will help him to be more healthier.

aaa -How many hours a week do you train? How many in the rink and how many in the gym?
aaa For not being adrift of our rivals we must train a lot. In the summer when all the programs are new weskate 5 hours a day, plus 2-3 hours we practice on the floor.In the winter is just 1-2 hours less.

aaa -Do you still study? If yes, what?
aaa -We both finished with our higher education. I finished an economic in the Sofia University and Maksim finished the sports Academy in Moscow.

aaa -Is figure skating very popular in Bulgaria?
aaa -In the last few years together with the good results of Ivan Dinev and me and Maxim figure skating became very popular in Bulgaria. I can even tell that now is the most famous winter sport in our country.

aaa -Why did you split up with your previous skating partners?
aaa -Very often the partners don't suit one to another.The same was the case with my previous partner. He was not so ambitious like I was and we split up. It was a little bit different with Maxim.His partner was much younger. And when he was not allowed to skate in juniors anymore they decided to look for another opportunities.

aaa -Which trait of character do you appreciate most about Maxim?
aaa -The trait of Maxim's character I appreciate mostof all is his high spirits all the time.He's always smiling and he don't take anything too deep.

aaa - How did you and Maxim get partnered?
aaa -Bulgarian ice dance judge and now president of our federation helped us to get together.She had a conversation with Elena Thaikovskaia during the Worlds'96 in Edmonton.They were talking if there is someone who wants to participate for our country with a Bulgarian partner.That is how I learn about Maksim. Few months later we attempted to skate together and it worked. So we decided to give it a try.
